In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Enfield Eagles.
The Governors now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lyman Hall for a Southern Connecticut test on Tuesday, April 18. Wilbur Cross will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South test, on Thursday, April 20. Enfield will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 9-8 league loss to Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT).
