The Laney Buccaneers lacrosse team scored 20 points and held the host Jack Britt Buccaneers to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Monday.
The Buccaneers (11-4) will now prepare for their match against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the Mideastern match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, New Hanover was overwhelmed by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 14-2, in a league match.
The Buccaneers (1-11) will now prepare for their match against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the United 8/All American/Sandhills match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Gray's Creek was overwhelmed by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 11-5, in a league match.
