The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) softball routed the host Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), 19-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Patriots go into the IAAM bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, John Carroll toppled Maryvale Prep (Brooklandville, MD), 15-3, in a non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 19. Northern will confront a Knights squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
