Beachside Barracudas (St. Johns, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Barracudas now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Atlantic Coast for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Beachside will face a Stingrays squad coming off a 22-5 non-league win over Englewood (Jacksonville, FL). The Stingrays record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Nease falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Orange Park (Orange Park, FL) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. Orange Park won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradford (Starke, FL)
