Chicopee Comp Colts (Chicopee, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Belchertown Orioles (Belchertown, MA), 19-7 in a league challenge.
The Colts now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chicopee for a PVIAC - Valley Wheel challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
With the loss, Belchertown falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Orioles host South Hadley (South Hadley, MA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
