The Mountain Crest Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Clearfield Falcons to 9 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mountain Crest improves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Mustangs host Logan (Logan, UT) to clash with the Grizzlies in a 4A Region 11 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 4-8. Logan lost 17-8 in their recent non-league game against Weber (Pleasant View, UT)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Fremont Silverwolves (Plain City, UT) in a 6A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Clearfield will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Silverwolves come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 10-3 non-league win over West (Salt Lake City, UT).
