Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Shade Panthers (Cairnbrook, PA), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Jays now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Greater Johnstown for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Conemaugh Valley will face a Trojans squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Shade falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a Western Pennsylvania - Southern challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Berlin Brothersvalley won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)
