Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Louisville Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newbury Park for a Marmonte challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Westlake will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Louisville falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Royals host Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA) to face the Knights in a Mission challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. Notre Dame (SO) won 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)
