The Madison Highland Prep Heat softball team scored 29 runs and limited the visiting Sequoia Pathway Academy Pumas to 0 in the Heat non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Madison Highland Prep moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Heat host Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 2A Metro game on Tuesday, April 18. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Pumas play the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) in a 2A South game, on Friday, April 21. Sequoia Pathway Academy will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record.
