Indiana High School Softball - Scottsburg bounces Mitchell

The Scottsburg Warriors (Scottsburg, IN) softball routed the host Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 8-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN). The Braves go into the Mid-Southern bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Brownstown Central held off Seymour (Seymour, IN), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

The Bluejackets now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Eastern Greene for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 18. Mitchell will confront a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-6.
