Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wasco for a South Sequoia challenge on Wednesday, April 19.

With the loss, Tehachapi falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Blades in a South Yosemite Mountain challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Blades enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. East Bakersfield lost 18-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothill (Bakersfield, CA)
