The Shenendehowa Plainsmen baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Averill Park Warriors to 1 in the Plainsmen league victory on Wednesday.
The Plainsmen (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Troy (Troy, NY). The Flying Horses go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Troy was overwhelmed by Albany (Albany, NY), 9-7, in a league match.
The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Cohoes ran past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY), 6-3, in a league match.
