The Keene Blackbirds baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Brattleboro Bears to 1 in the Blackbirds non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blackbirds (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Blue Hawks go into the Division I match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Exeter gained a win over Trinity (Manchester, NH), 3-2, in a league match.
The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders come into the SVL A challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Rutland was overwhelmed by St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 17-1, in a non-league challenge.
