The Ledford Panthers crushed the visiting North Surry Greyhounds baseball team by a count of 10-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Asheboro for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Friday, April 19. Ledford will face a Blue Comets team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 6-14.
Next, the Greyhounds face the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a Foothills 2A bout, on Friday, April 19. North Surry will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 3-16 record after their 10-0 league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
