The Mitchell Bluejackets baseball team scored 35 runs and limited the visiting White River Valley Wolverines to 0 in the Bluejackets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bluejackets (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Perry Central (Leopold, IN). The Commodores go into the Patoka Lake challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Perry Central overwhelmed Orleans (Orleans, IN), 8-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, White River Valley falls to 0-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN) to encounter the Cardinals in a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Monday, April 22. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Bloomfield won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Orleans (Orleans, IN)
