The Monticello Sages baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Salt Fork Storm to 0 in the Sages non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Sages (21-0) will now prepare for their match against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers go into the Illini Prairie match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Paxton-Buckley-Loda gained a win over Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL), 17-2, in a non-league match.

The Storm (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Warriors go into the Vermilion Valley match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Watseka gained a win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL), 11-6, in a non-league match.
