North Carolina High School Baseball - Mount Pleasant loses to Northwest Cabarrus

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Mount Pleasant Tigers.
The Trojans (9-12) will now prepare for their game against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, South Rowan was overwhelmed by Carson (China Grove, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their game against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 19-3 record. In their last game, North Stanly was overwhelmed by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 10-0, in a non-league game.
