The Middle Creek Mustangs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Garner Trojans to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record.
The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Fuquay - Varina tipped Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 8-4, in a non-league match.
