North Carolina High School Baseball - Northwest Cabarrus loses to Mount Pleasant

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Mount Pleasant Tigers baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.
The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their game against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, North Stanly was overwhelmed by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 6-2, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (2-10) will now prepare for their game against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, South Rowan was overwhelmed by Carson (China Grove, NC), 6-4, in a non-league game.
