California High School Lacrosse - Newport Harbor drops to Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 9-2 in a league battle.

The Oilers now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Los Alamitos for a battle on Wednesday, April 24. Huntington Beach will clash with a Griffins squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Sailors clash with the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 25. Newport Harbor will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Golden Knights come into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 16-8 non-league win over San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
