Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA), 17-4 in a league battle.

The Patriots now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wakefield School for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Yorktown will clash with a Fighting Owls squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 3-2.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Liberty battle, on Friday, April 19. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Saxons come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 21-1 league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
