The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) and the host Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), saw Monroe Area's soccer squad triumph over Cedar Grove by a margin of 5-0.
The Purple Hurricanes now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Coahulla Creek for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 24. Monroe Area will meet a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Colts record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Cedar Grove drops to 5-7 on the season.
