The Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) softball routed the host Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT), 18-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Longhorns (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ogden (Ogden, UT). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Ogden beat Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT), 27-9, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Delta falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Rabbits travel to Emery (Castle Dale, UT) to battle the Spartans in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Emery won 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Juab (Nephi, UT)
