St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Augustine Prep Lions (Milwaukee, WI), 17-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Francis improves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Mariners host Luther Prep (Watertown, WI) to face the Phoenix in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 23. The Phoenix enter the game with a record of 0-3.
The Lions now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cudahy for a non-league game on Friday, May 3.
