In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a margin of 18-3.
With the triumph, Maret moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Frogs travel to Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC) to play the Cubs in a contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Cubs come into the contest with a record of 7-4.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Friday, April 19. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD).
