Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) and the host Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA), witnessed Bishop O'Connell's softball squad tip Osbourn Park by a count of 8-1.

The Knights now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel for a Washington Catholic match on Friday, April 19. Bishop O'Connell will face a Falcons squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Osbourn Park moves to 8-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA) to face the Bobcats in a Cedar Run match on Thursday, April 18. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 7-2.
