In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Manteno Panthers softball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Clifton Central Comets.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 19. Manteno will attempt to improve on its 18-0 season record.

The Comets (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Chargers enter the River Valley outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Illinois Lutheran prevailed over Donovan (Donovan, IL), 8-0, in a league outing.
