Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Flagstaff for a 4A Grand Canyon challenge on Thursday, April 18. Coconino will face a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Thunderbird falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Titans host Greenway (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Demons in a 4A Skyline challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 14-8. Greenway won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ)
