Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Jets now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waldron for a Mid-Hoosier challenge on Thursday, April 18. Hauser will face a Mohawks squad coming off a 22-7 non-league win over Crothersville (Crothersville, IN). The Mohawks record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Connersville falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to face the Wildcats in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Monday, April 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-2.
