Renaissance Academy Knights (Phoenixville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Faith Christian Academy Lions (Sellersville, PA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chichester for a Delaware Valley challenge on Friday, April 19. Renaissance Academy will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 25-8 league win over Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Faith Christian Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Delaware County Christian lost 16-1 in their recent league challenge against MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA)
