Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Grey Ghosts now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Bede for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19.
With the loss, Galesburg falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Silver streaks host Macomb (Macomb, IL) to battle the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4.
