Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Henderson County will battle a Gators squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Tecumseh falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Jasper (Jasper, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Jasper lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against North Daviess (Elnora, IN)
