The Metamora Redbirds routed the host Normal Community Ironmen softball squad by a final score of 11-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Redbirds (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Raiders go into the Mid-Illini battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, East Peoria nudged Morton (Morton, IL), 10-0, in a league outing.
The Ironmen (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders enter the Big Twelve outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Bloomington was routed by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
