The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) and the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), saw Riverside-Brookfield's softball squad achieve victory over Stagg by a count of 17-2.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Westmont for a Metro Suburban match on Thursday, April 18. Riverside-Brookfield will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Stagg falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to face the Boilermakers in a SouthWest Suburban match on Thursday, April 18. The Boilermakers enter the match with a record of 12-6. Bradley-Bourbonnais lost 13-1 in their recent league match against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)
