The Averill Park Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Greenwich Witches to 1 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Guilderland for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 21. Averill Park will play a Flying Dutchmen team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Greenwich drops to 4-4 on the year. The Witches host Stillwater (Stillwater, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 2 Wasaren test on Monday, April 21. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-5. Stillwater lost 14-8 in their recent non-league test against Canajoharie (Canajoharie, NY)
