The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen (Taunton, MA) and the visiting Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA), saw Bristol-Plymouth RVT's baseball team gain a win over Greater New Bedford RVT by a tally of 6-4.
The Craftsmen (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Old Colony RVT (Rochester, MA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Old Colony RVT held off Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bears face the Case Cardinals (Swansea, MA) in a South Coast battle, on Friday, April 18. Greater New Bedford RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 7-0 league loss to Seekonk (Seekonk, MA).
