The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) and the visiting Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), saw Mills University Studies's baseball team get by Carlisle by a margin of 11-10.

The Comets (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against ESTEM (Little Rock, AR). The Mets enter the 4A Region 5 South battle with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Bison face the McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR) in a 2A Region 6 battle, on Friday, April 18. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 9-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Riverside (Lake City, AR).
