Connecticut High School Baseball - Waterford defeats Cromwell

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Waterford Lancers baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Cromwell Panthers.
The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Vikings go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division I game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, East Lyme was overwhelmed by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 5-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 21. Cromwell will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Noises go into the game with a 1-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).
