The Parkview Patriots baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting ESTEM Mets to 2 in the Patriots non-league win on Thursday.

The Patriots now own a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenbrier for a 5A Central test on Tuesday, April 22. Parkview will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 14-3 league win over Beebe (Beebe, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.

With the defeat, ESTEM drops to 1-4 on the year. The Mets travel to Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR) to clash with the Comets in a 4A Region 5 South test on Friday, April 18. The Comets go into the test with a record of 7-7. Mills University Studies won 11-10 in their recent non-league game against Carlisle (Carlisle, AR)
