The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the First State Military Academy Bulldogs (Clayton, DE) and the visiting Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE), saw First State Military Academy's baseball team beat Newark by a margin of 13-6.
The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Bluejays enter the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Seaford was overwhelmed by Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 5-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the Christiana Vikings (Newark, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight A battle, on Saturday, April 19. Newark will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 21-1 league loss to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE).
