In Thursday's non-league game, the host Francis Scott Key Eagles baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Frederick Cadets.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their game against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake game with a 5-5 record.
Next, the Cadets play the Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD) in a CMC game, on Tuesday, April 22. Frederick will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
