The Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) baseball the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 7-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Curwensville for a Inter-County - North challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Juniata Valley will clash with a Golden Tide team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA). The Golden Tide record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Penns Valley Area drops to 0-11 on the year. The Rams host Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to clash with the Bison in a Laurel Highlands East challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Clearfield lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest Hills (Sidman, PA)
