The Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central Honkers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Stanley Blue Jays to 2 in the Honkers league win on Thursday.
The Honkers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Divide County for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22.
With the defeat, Stanley drops to 0-1 on the year. The Blue jays travel to Tioga (Tioga, ND) to clash with the Pirates in a Class B - Region VII test on Tuesday, April 22. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-1.
