Indiana High School Baseball - River Forest defeats Marquette Catholic

April 17, 2025: Hobart, IN 46342

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the visiting Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN), saw River Forest's baseball team gain a win over Marquette Catholic by a tally of 7-2.

The Ingots (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Glenn (Walkerton, IN). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Glenn was overwhelmed by Bremen (Bremen, IN), 5-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Blazers face the Culver Academies Eagles (Culver, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. Marquette Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Westville (Westville, IN).
