Indiana High School Baseball - Niles holds off Mishawaka

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Niles Vikings (Niles, MI) and the host Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN), saw Niles's baseball team gain a win over Mishawaka by a tally of 6-2.

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Trojans enter the Wolverine B battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Sturgis was overwhelmed by St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cavemen face the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. Mishawaka will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eddies enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 6-5 league win over Otsego (Otsego, MI).
