The Red Bird Cardinals (Beverly, KY) baseball trounced the visiting Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY), 15-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lynn Camp for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 18. Red Bird will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.
With the defeat, Oneida Baptist Institute drops to 0-3 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Berea (Berea, KY) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
