Connecticut High School Baseball - Putnam Science Academy holds off Springfield Commonwealth Academy

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Putnam Science Academy baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Springfield Commonwealth Academy Tornadoes.
The (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Winchendon (Winchendon, MA). The Wapiti go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Winchendon was overwhelmed by Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY), 8-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tornadoes play the Putnam Science Academy (Putnam, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 6. Springfield Commonwealth Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
