In Thursday's non-league bout, the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Truman Patriots (Independence, MO), by a tally of 9-1.
Next up, the Bruins encounter the Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 18. Rock Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 11-6 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, MO).
The Patriots (9-11) will now prepare for their bout against Nixa (Nixa, MO). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Nixa achieved victory over Carthage (Carthage, MO), 15-1, in a league bout.
