The Uniontown Red Raiders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Southmoreland Scotties to 3 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Thursday.

The Red Raiders now hold a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ringgold for a WPIAL 4A 2 test on Tuesday, April 22. Uniontown will play a Rams team coming off a 5-4 league loss to West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Rams record now stands at 4-8.

With the defeat, Southmoreland drops to 1-8 on the year. The Scotties travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA) to play the Vikings in a test on Monday, April 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 8-4. Mt. Pleasant won 5-3 in their recent league test against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA)
