In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Streator Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Coal City Coalers.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.
Next up, the Coalers play the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Coal City will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
